love this recipe--so easy, and so delicious! i was making it for a group and found out that one guest didn't like anything coffee-flavored, so i subbed Disaronno amaretto for the coffee liquer and skipped the almond extract. tasted wonderful!

We liked it, but prefer regular bread pudding. We will not be keeping this recipe.

I have made this recipe four times now and it is wonderful. The first three times I could not bring myself to share....but this last time I brought in into the office for our Thanksgiving potluck lunch. It went over wonderfully and I have printed the recipe for several of my co-workers. thanks Paula. You rock!

Incredible!!!! You have done it again Paula. My guests LOVED this desert. Everyone was so full from a lovely dinner yet we licked out plates clean. It is very easy to make. I did use Whiskey in the sacue instead of the Bailey's as I prefer he old fashioned flavor of the whiseky sauce and it is not as sweet . I highly recommend this to someone who needs a dessert for a larger group.

I have made the Chocolate Bread Pudding twice within the past 2 weeks- my husband loves it! I did not use the almond extract but will do so next time. We will be making this for Thanksgiving this year.
As another chef mentioned, use just a tad less bread if you want more pudding.
Enjoy!

I think this is the best chocolate bread pudding I have ever had!! It is really chocolatey so you definitely need some whipped cream or ice cream. I followed the directions exactly as it was written and it was wonderful!! Thanks Paula!
