I made this dessert after making a somewhat labor intensive Valentine's Day dinner for my birthday. It honestly was the easiest thing ever...I made the bundles before I started cooking dinner, and then when we had finished eating I popped them in the oven so they were done when we were done cleaning up! They present very nicely, especially with the ganache and whipped cream, and look like they took great skill but really they couldn't be easier. I sprinkled some sugar on the top of the bundles after brushing the outside with the egg wash, just so they'd sparkle a little. These would be great for an easy dinner party dessert!

My whole family enjoyed this recipe. (my father in-law called me later that night to tell me again how much he liked it! I made 8 bundles and half the egg eash was plenty. I used 2 mini snickers and 2 hershey kisses as Paula suggested. I was not crazy about the peanuts in the snickers, next time I think I'll use the mini snickers with almonds.

Half of the egg wash is plenty, and I thinned it with a little extra cream. I used 3 extra-creamy Hershey's valentine hearts and that was enough chocolate. I also left off the ganache and whipped cream, but these were perfect little bundles- as is! Definitely a keeper!
