Made this recipe for a holiday party with my best girlfriends. The bundles were beautiful, golden, and flaky with melted chocolate peaking out of the top. Used Dove chocolate squares. Served on a puddle of ganache. Topped with the ganache, whipped cream, and Dove chocolate shavings. Fresh strawberries or raspberries on the plate with the ganache would be perfect in case you were in chocolate overload. I love Paula Dean's recipes.

Thank you Paula for another easy, tasty one. It was just a touch too sweet (with Snickers and caramel/milk chocolate kisses for my taste, so next time I will substitute semi-sweet chocolate for the filling.

I made this and it is so simple and easy. I also subsituted candies with Reese's peanut butter cups the second time I made them. A trick I found extra tasty, was putting marshmallow cream on top and sticking under the broiler for a few minutes to brown it. Not too fond of whipped cream so I had to use something.
