I made these for my four sons and they went CRAZY!!!!! They were DELICIOUS. I used prepared pie cruse instead of the puff pastry and they came out perfect! Paula did it again!

My husband I thought this was about the best dessert we have ever had. I did not do bundles. Rather, I placed three tiny Snickers in a row on the square of pastry, placed 1/2 piece of Dove chocolate between the Snickers and folded each square over. They looked more like empanadas or turnovers. I sealed the edges with a fork.
This was an easy dessert, and like I said, it tasted heavenly. It seems like it would be good with just about any kind of chocolate candy inside. I splurged and used Vahlrona for the sauce, and it really wasn't worth the extra$$$

I'd seen this episode before and thought I'd try it some time and I did tonight. It was a grand hit with both husband and myself! I thawed puff pastry sheet per directions but made sure that it was still rather cold when I started working with it. I made 1/2 recipe of the egg wash, per others who'd rated the recipe and found it was plenty. I brushed only outside edges of each square of pastry to avoid a soggy middle. I used Wal-mart's "Caramel Cups" which sell for around $2 per bag--a real bargin--so I didn't need two kinds of candy. Placed 3 pieces in center of pastry, brought points together with a twist and pinched the seams. After painting again with egg wash, I gave each pastry a sprinkle of course sanding sugar (like the kind used for sugar cookies and it added another layer of crunch. I didn't make the ganache because I had a jar of fudge icecream topping in the refrigerator. A quick 30 seconds in the microwave and it was perfect for the "puddle" on the plate as well as a drizzle across the top. Total effect was perfect as well as over the top delicious. Yes, this is a very sweet dessert, but for a special night of romance, it was perfection. Thanks again, Paula.
P.S. the very frugal cook (like me can freeze left-over egg wash in a zipper-lock container for next recipe that calls for an egg wash. Just thaw in the refrigerator.

My family loved these. I wasn't going to make the sauce, but at the last minute I decided to. Glad I did because it MADE this dessert.

I read all the reviews before making this recipe and took all suggestions in. First to avoid the dough not cooking all the way I rolled it out thinner with a rolling pin. Then I only egg washed the outside not both sides. This recipe is awesome and I used nestle treasures caramel filled and the hershey kisses and the ganache is awesome as well. Very rich and sinful.

I'm a beginning cook and my boyfriend has requested this dessert on multiple occasions since I first tried it 2 weeks ago! Super simple, allows for creativity and fun to make for adults or children. I scanned the other reviews and one read that the dessert is a bit doughy. Personally, that's part of what makes everything so ooey and gooey, which is exactly what this dessert is all about! Thanks, Paula.
