Awesome and easy....just plan to make the day before. Piping the meringue didn't work to well for me...so I just spread it with a spoon.

Years ago when my brothers and I were bachelors, my brother Gary would make a big deal about bringing a date home and making them his "cherries jubilee" dessert. We used to kid him gave him the nickname, "The Jubilee Kid". Never much of a dessert maker but I tried this out on my wifey because it had three of my favorites, cherry ice cream & brownies & rum. I was scared about baking it too long and/or setting the kitchen on fire, but it came out great and brought back good memories. Betcha this would could work out well with some other type booze like brandy....
