My husband and I love this desert. It is our favorite. To make it a little friendlier fo the waist line I substitue non fat half and half and use about 1/4 cup sugar. It is fantastic!

I followed this recipe as written but I used semi-sweet chocolate like Paula did on the show. I served it at a dinner party last night and received many compliments! My family loves it! This Creme Brulee is velvety smooth. Definitely a keeper!

I love creme brulee and have made it a lot, but this particular recipe came out terrible. I think the recipe amounts may be wrong. It tasted very "eggy" and the chocolate flavor was weak considering all the cocoa, choc liquor and unsweet choc used. (I followed the recipe to the tee

This was my first time making creme brulee of any type. I used milk chocolate instead (just a matter of preference. My husband who hates anything custardy DEVOURED it and is having seconds today as I made too many! Sooo good. Perect consistency. AND soooo easy to make!!

This recipe was easy to prepare, and it has become a favorite with my family! I substitute milk chocolate (my favorite for the unsweetened chocolate. Thanks Paula!

I made this recipe for a 20th anniversary party, and it was a hit! I did use the unsweetened chocolate, and it was wonderful. I used heart shaped dishes and dressed the desserts with fresh raspberries.

    Thanks Paula...you rock!

I love making Creme Brulee but have never tried one with chocolate...my favorite food! I used the semi-sweet chocolate like she did on her cooking show and it was great. I think the unsweet choco was a misprint on her site. Well worth the short time it takes to make....the cooling of the Brulee takes the longest so you can't count that as cooking time.

Very easy to make, tastes yummy, but very sweet. Definetely use small ramikins because its too sweet to eat alot.
