We loved these cupcakes except the frosting was a little to sweet for us and I only added 2 1/2 cups confec sugar instead of 3. Loved loved loved the filling and the cake was so moist. I think next time I will make the filling into a frosting and omit the butter cream, not a big fan of butter cream anyways. :.

wonderful..... instead of coffee liqueur I just made espresso. and for filling I made my own whipped cream using heavy cream and a little vanilla----and melted semi sweet chocolate instead of using frozen chocolate whip. it was so good.

These are fabulous!! Everyone I served them to, loved them! The only thing I did different was to add Irish cream to the filling as I didn't have coffee liqueur. They were wonderful!

I won "cupcake wars" with this recipe. It was the most popular cupcake and there was not even ONE left over at the party. It's really good! Put all the liqueur in the filling, it won't taste too strong or like alcohol. It's the perfect amount against the chocolate whipped cream. Also, I only added 2 tablespoons of coffee to the frosting so it won't thin out. Start tasting the frosting as you incorporate the confectioners sugar in the frosting to make sure it's not overly sweet for your tastebuds. But really, try it! It's really good!!

This recipe was DELICIOUS! The cake was sweet, and the filling was just a tiny bit bitter. They were gone within 2 days!
