My grand-daughter and I enjoyed making these cupcakes. We used cake mix and used the icing for a quicker fix. We are waiting to see what her three uncles think of her cooking! Simple fun!

But if you are going to make the frosting----allow yourself more than 10 minutes to let the chocolate mixture cool. It took over an hour and about 2 cups of powdered sugar to get this to 'frosting' consistency. Otherwise, it was a winner at my daughter's birthday party!

These are the easiest cupcakes that I have ever made. I haven't make the frosting yet. I put on regular whipped frosting from a can and add gummy worms. I don't put on the cookie crumbs either. But I love the cupcake recipe!

The title says all. The cupcakes were delicious and were a huge hit at my brother's birthday party. The kids could eat them with their hands, the cupcakes were cute and fun, and really yummy.

They were moist, chocolate-y (but not too chocolate-y, and didn't take long to make at all.
Even my mother who isn't a big fan of chocolate loved them.

I'm definitely going to try making them again.
    Good job, Paula.

I made these cupcakes for my Grandson's Birthday and I add slivers of green licorce and placed it on top of the cakes for grass. I also use sour gummy worms and cut them into thirds. Placed one for the head, arched the middle for and put the tail in the back to make it look like the worm was crawling through the dirt pile.
