This egg cream was ok, but I used U-Bet syrup, the authentic choc. syrup for egg creams. As a born-and-bred Brooklyn girl, I know my egg creams. You need skim milk as well for the best froth. If you want an ice cream soda, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to the egg cream...we call that a "black and white."
