All I can say is WOW! I made this for my future son-in-law's birthday, and everyone LOVED it! Tastes like a slice of choclate heaven. Unfortunately, I did not read any reviews before I made mine, so I did not cook it long enough, but next time, I will probably keep it in 1.5 hours instead. I like the suggestion of using 4 squares of chocolate for the top layer, or drizzling it over the top, because it was hard to cut. Once it's cooked long enough however, I bet it would cut better....we'll see. I'll for sure make this winner again!

OMG! This is an amazing cheesecake. I made it for Valentine's Day and it was better than I had hoped for. I did bake it for the extra 30" and it came out almost perfect. I will try just leaving it in the warm oven a bit longer next time. I also had a hard time cutting the top layer - even with dipping a knife in warm water. I don't want to leave that layer off though - it was too good! I shared the rest of the cake at work the next day and it got rave reviews! It is time consuming to make but well worth the effort. The best cheesecake ever - thank you Paula!

I spent yesterday making the cheesecake and anxiously waiting for it to set in the fridge to try tonight. DELISH!!!!!!!! Nice work, Paula! However, as many others said - I had to bake it longer than the recipe stated. I did probably another 10 minutes on 300 and then another 10-15 with the oven off. Next time I think I would do even a little bit more. I decided the only thing this was missing was peanut butter, so I did peanut butter cookie dough instead of chocolate chip and then put milk chocolate chips on top of that. Divine! It definitely hit the spot! My husband and his friends loved it! I also had an issue with my ganache being too hard and cracked when I cut it. I would love any tips - wonder if I should just let it get room temp before cutting? I recommend making this one!

this takes awhile to make with the baking and cooling, but it was sooo worth the wait. I thought it was great. I made it and took it to work not a crumb was left.

WOW! Absolutely delicious. A little on the rich side but the flavors blend together very well. Definitely worth it.

This cheesecake is amazing. Yes it is time consuming but the steps are super easy. Hardest part was waiting for each layer to cool to start the next. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfect. I would not recommend baking the cheesecake layer longer because you might dry it out. When its done it will jiggle but be firm. Only change I may do next time is drizzle the last chocolate layer rather then spread over whole top. Already of thinking of the variations for this...peanut butter cooking dough with crumbled peanut butter cups over the top....yum!

I made this cheesecake and we had this last night after dinner. My family absolutely love cheesecake, but they said this is their favorite now!!! The different layers just melt in your mouth. I have made so many different kinds over the years but I have to admit this is the #1 now!!!

This was the most incredible desert ever! I sent some to my pregnant niece whom has had a craving for chocolate and she devoured it! “Best she ever had”. It turned out perfectly and it's not hard to make just time consuming due to letting it cool so many times. I will keep this in the family cookbook and make it time and time again.
