I had never cooked a flank steak before, so I decided to try this marinade with a London Broil...and MY GOODNESS it was wonderful! The flavor really complimented this piece of meat. In addition, the salsa was just as good and so easy to make. Rather than deal with a whole fresh pineapple I bought a can of Dole Pineapple chucks and diced those up instead. My family just loved this meal!!!

I made this tonight and completely surprised how good this was. The combination of all the spices is awesome. The cocoa powder really gives a nice flavor. I didn't make the salsa that goes with it because I didn't have pineapple. The steak itself was so tender. I marinated it about 8 hours. I will definitely make this again...
