This has to be one of the easiest cookie recipes I've ever made. They are very light, yet dense and moist. Will try with other flavors, can imagine endless possibilities.

These cookies tasted a lot like the crust of her gooey chocolate butter cakes.
My kids loved rolling the balls (you DON'T need to refrigerate the dough first because the butter in them keeps them from sticking to your hands and rolling them in confectioners sugar.
I used a tablespoon sized cookie scoop which made all 36 cookies the same size. I also reduced the baking time to 8 minutes so they would not be dry. Very tasty and fun to make!!

I had so much fun with this recipe. I made a few batches for my son's kindergarten graduation. I made a batch of the chocolate ones, but I also made some with a strawberry cake mix (drizzled with white chocolate at the end and a lemon cake mix with the sugar, also a vanilla cake mix ( some drizzled in chocolate, and some rolled in cinnamon and sugar I arranged the varieties on a plate and froze the leftover dough...Everyone wanted the recipe and couldn't believe how easy!!

These were so good! My husband and I loved these. I felt so bad, he came home from work, went to grab a couple and there were none left. (I didn't feel that bad : Anyway, I'll make more..... they're that good!

After all the base ingredient is a boxed cake mix. For those who live in hotter climates, refrigerating the batter overnight instead of the 2 hours was more successful. Check cookies at 10 minutes because any longer and the cookies collapses.

My mom and daughter made these cookies today while I was at work. These are bound to become one of my favorites. They are just the right amount of chocolate and sooo moist. Wonderful!
