I made these yesterday with Devil's Food cake & they came out really good. I put them in powdered sugar after they cooled.

5 stars with how I made it! I read the reviews and this is what I did:
    1. added 1/2c of sugar to the crm. cheese and butter
    2. added white chocolate chips to the entire batter
    3. put in fridge for only an hour
    4. put confect. sugar on my hands, rolled the balls (no sticking!
    5. rolled in red sugar then in the confec. sugar
    6. after they cooled I sprinkled w/confect. sugar
    Absolutely yummy! We love them!!

I will be making these today, but I found the mixture to be very hard to mix, it kept clogging up the beaters, so I had to end up using a wooden spoon to mix it. I hope they come out right. I'm making these for some special needs children. After I make them I'll come back with another review. If there is anyone that had the same problem please let me know what I did wrong.

Love these! I made them for my homeroom party and they were gone in a second! I made them two days in advance and those two days in the refrigerator did them justice. They could use some chocolate chips and salt though.

How well would this do with Devils Food Cake mix? Is it any different than normal chocolate cake?

I have made these before and they are WONDERFUL!!! They are now a normal addition to our christmas cookie list.

We made these for our cookie exchange and they were a big hit. The changes we made were as follows, using a red velvet cake mix which worked well for Christmas. My daughter rolled them in red sprinkles, used a baby spoon to make a well in the center, added rectangular multicolored sprinkles and then baked them. Not only delish but gorgeous Christmas cookies. One thing to keep in mind that I didn't see upfront was the dough needs to be refrigerated for about an hour. That actually worked out creatively. Another keeper.

These cookies are chewy, moist, chocolatey, easy and everybody loves them. Don't bake them longer than 12 min though, or they go from chewy to crunchy (unless, of course, you like them that way.

My husband really liked these but he is not much of a sweets eater. I thought they were pretty good, they needed something more, like chocolate chips or something crunchy. You definitely need to cover them in the powdered sugar and sprinkle more on top after. I will probably make them again but will add coconut or chocolate chips.
