This recipe is delicious and so easy compared to some other chessecake recipes I have tried. I made it with almonds instead of macadamia nuts do to the cost of the macadamia nuts, but it still tasted wonderful. My family loved the vanilla wafer crust. This will become a regular dessert in our house.

Made the bars for dinner tomorrow. Substituted graham cracker crust and wlanuts instead of macadamia nuts. They were absolutely wonderful. Will definitely make again. Thanks Paula!!!

I made these for a family bbq tomorrow, but I'm afraid curiosity got the best of me. The are absolutely wonderful. I know my family, and the will be a terrific hit. Some are saying they put vanilla in their mix. I did not. I sampled because I started to be concerned about no vanilla, but it didn't affect the taste at all to me. I like my cheese cake on the tarter side. I will most deffinately be making thee again.

I made this recipe to take to a Bar-b-que contest in Lenexa, KS. Recieved rave reviews! I also thought that recipe would need vanilla extract and added 2 tsp. FYI to kyokomb, the 1/4 cup of nuts were to be sprinkiled onto the top of the finished bars.

I didn't have vanilla wafers so I used graham crackers instead. It didn't specify what to do with the remaining 1/4 cup of macadamia nuts so I added it to the batter. Cheesecake usually has vanilla extract so I added 1 teaspoon into the batter. I shared them with friends and they loved it!

yummy!!!!!!! with a few add-ons. 3cups of wafers because of the size pan i used which turn out to be perfect for the amount of creamcheese mixture u will have. I also added 1tbls of vanilla and added a lil bit more sugar to the mix. I left out the nuts do to allergies and I used white chocolate instead of regular chocolate....still so very yummy. It never made it to the frig...hehehe
