I made this tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yummy, and I added 1 cup of semi sweet chips and next time I am thinking about adding coconut. I think that would be such a good addition. Paula is so good.

This is my new favorite dessert, it is so decadent! A perfect brownie with a sauce underneath. The only change I made to the recipe was adding extra caramel sauce to the whipped cream.

As soon as I saw this on television, I had to make it that day. Although I did add a touch more milk to the recipe, it was perfect as it's written. I've made it twice since and everyone tells me it's their favorite dessert!!! The last time I made it, I used 1 small can of evaporated milk instead of the 1/2 cup of whole milk and that was the perfect amount of liquid. It is so beautiful and so delicious, people can't believe it's so easy! Right on, Paula!!!

I was reading some of the comments made about Paula Deens Chocolate Cobbler and all i want to say is that every reciepe i ever tried of Paula Deens was excellent the reciepes are easy to follow and as in every Reciepe you have to adjust certin things according to your oven or stove maybe people who try the reciepes stop and read and take their time on preparing them they will come out better. On the shows things seem so easy and quick you cannot always be rushed to do how the chefs do so take your time and read the reciepes all the way threw.

While I can tell that this dessert will be delicious, the recipe is written in a very muddled fashion. Be certain to read it in advance to separate the batter ingredients from the "filling" ingredients. Can't wait to try it.

Wow. Made this today for the holiday weekend and this is O-M-G! good!! We were surprised to find that the cake almost tasted more like German chocolate. Made it almost exactly to recipe - the only difference was that (like some of the other reviewers, the 1/2 cup of milk was not enough. Batter was too thick so I added enough milk to get the right consistency..Otherwise, recipe was "spot on". I had a hard time finding the toffee bits and almost left them out but what a mistake that would have been! The toffee bits add a special surprise in every bite. SUPER yummy! This one has definitely moved to the top of our family dessert list. Thanks Paula!

I had a hard time getting mine to set up too...I added 1 cup of milk instead of 1/2 cup but it was still too watery on top. I had to cook it an extra 20 mins and it was still too goopy.
I think next time I will not add as much boiling water....maybe 3/4 cup and see if it's better.

I was so excited to make this cobbler, but like Nancy from Poulsboww, WA, mine also didn't turn out. I think that the batter is to thick to rise. I added more milk because I could not pour it out of my bowl. Anybody else have the problem? What did you do?

just isn't right to get collard, chocolate AND the measuring spoons and cups.
