I came across this recipe on Paula's show and knew I had to try it. One of my best friends named Syble died a while back and I wanted to make it for her.... I have never baked before... It turned out great!! Everyone loved it. I followed the recipe with the exception of the nuts in the frosting... Everyone needs to try this, its so good and easy to make.

Finally, my search for the perfect chocolate cake recipe has come to an end. Absolutely awesome and delicious! Very sweet and gooey for all those who love & crave for these two things in a chocolate cake and whats more..its so simple! The only thing I will change next time is probably the the amount of sugar in frosting...probably will use only 1/2 cup. Thanks Paula for sharing this winner recipe!!!

This cake is absolutely delicious. It's every chocolate lover's dream. Would be perfect with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. The longer you let it sit before serving, the better it will be!

Outstanding, delicious, treat. Easy preparation that my 10 year old daughter could follow and make with little supervision. A keeper for our recipe collection. Thanks to Paula Dean for those "oh too rich and delicious" desserts.

My family LOVES this cake! It reminds my husband and I of a hot fudge cake we used to go out to dessert for when we were dating only this is BETTER! Thank you Paula & Sybil! I also want to say that my husband and I both love watching Paula on tv! It feels like your sitting in a good friend's kitchen having a relaxing afternoon and looking forward to a wonderful meal!

This recipe is absolutely delicious and I didn't change a thing. If you want a decadent, sweet, very chocolaty cake- this is it- and it's easy. To avoid the frosting from crystallizing, just don't bring it to a boil too fast. If you want a healthy recipe, then don't try Paula's recipes.
