This cake is easy, rich and sinfully good! Just as a couple of others who posted reviews mentioned ... I did have to bake mine a little longer for it to set. Total of 40 mins. It is a keeper of a recipe! Thanks, Paula!

Good stuff! Reminds me of Texas Sheet Cake. Love the texure of the cake! I did have the same baking time issue that others have reported. It took a total of 40 minutes to bake through. Do be sure to do a "toothpick" test, though, because there is a bit of a sheen that makes it look undone. I also agree about the grainy texture of the icing. I have much easier and tastier recipes for icing that I will use on this cake in the future.

Oh my goodness!!! So easy!! So delicious!! I made this for dinner and it was gone the next day. My family loved it. I will definitely made it again. By the way, it's extra wonderful with a dip of ice cream on top!! Yum-yum!!

If death by chocolate were a possibility this cake would certainly apply. It was so easy, incredibly moist and awesomely delicious! My daughters boyfriend is a chocolate cake monster and he gave this cake the double thumbs up. The chocolate ganache sends this cake over the top.

This cake reminds me of how magical a boiled frosting can be.
Your show and recipes should be a reality check for all of those food snobs out there that don't know the proper place for salted butter.

I tasted the cake batter and wasn't sure I was going to like it. I could really taste the chocolate syrup and it was very strong. It was delicious warm. I wasn't sure how it would be cold the next day, but I think it was even better. I simple, delicious recipe that I will definitely make again.
