Spectacular Presentation, superb taste! This is very easy to make and well worth the time. Don't buy hot fudge sauce, make this recipe! I made a double batch of the hot fudge and whipped cream. I made a batch of brownies and I added the brownies in the middle of the trifle. This was a perfect amount to partially fill up the punch bowl that I used.
It's almost like a Hot Fudge Cake in the form of a trifle. Everyone loves a hot fudge cake! Great work Paula!

The coffee liquor does the trick. Not too sweet, as I used a bit less powdered sugar.

OMG this is the most dessert fantastic recipe. Tastes even better if Bailey's Irish Cream is used rather than cofee liquer. This recipe is the favorite of my friends and family.

Super easy! I purchased hot fudge sauce and used Cool Whip which held up better Than fresh whipped cream would have. There wasn't enough toffee taste. I'd double the number of bars next time. My guests loved it though!

Absolutely fantastic! The coffee liqueur makes the cake so moist - and it doesn't taste like alcohol. I made the cake in two 9-in round pans .... then you can slice the cakes in half and they fit perfectly in the trifle dish!!! It makes for a beautiful presentation. Make sure you cool the fudge before assembling the layers. I ended with the whipped cream on top with the crushed Heath bars and a sprig of mint .... gorgeous : My family went nuts over it!!

This is my favorite dessert, my Mom makes it for me every year for my bday. It's the best with Paul's homemade hot fudge recipe, homemade whipped cream and extra health bars. There are never leftovers

I made this dessert for a church event & I got so many compliments & random people requesting the recipe!
I did tweak the recipe a little; I did not use the coffee liqueur but I did want it to have that moistness so I added fresh strawberries with their own juice (mix with a little lemon juice & powdered sugar & refrigerated a few hours between every layer.
I also used the entire half pint heavy cream & only mixed it with 3Tblsp sugar.
I used Skors bar pieces & added broken pecan nuts to that.
I loved it & will be making it again for another gathering!!

This was absolutely the best chocolate dessert I have made. Even non-chocolate lovers had to admit it was great! Can't wait to make the fudge sauce again just to drizzle over ice cream. The cake with kahlua was an excellent combination, kahlua a great complement to chocolate cake. Will make again, but for a larger crowd.
