I made these for the first time. I made two batches, one of normal sized and one of mini bite sized rolls. I noticed the filling is hard to spread out if the butter is melted, it worked better when I made it soft and mixed the sugar and cinnamon into it. I also made the icing with cream cheese, that was much better than just sugar. I am enjoying my first time making cinnamon rolls from scratch. They turned out very good.

This is a recipe I have been making for a LONG time! They are always a hit. I double the icing because my husband likes extra on the side. Sometimes I use brown sugar instead of white and that is fun change once and a while. If you want to make something totally impressive and easy, make these, they are always a hit at brunch!!!! (oh, and dont ice them right away, wait about 5 or 10 mins otherwise the icing will melt too much

These were fantastic. They were very easy to make, and they were so soft. I thought they were just a little too sweet for me, so I'll have to cut the sugar. Other than that, I totally recommend these to everybody.

Very tasty. However, I did make some changes. Instead of white sugar, I used brown sugar and added some fresh nutmeg to the sugar mixture. I also used a homemade cream cheese frosting instead of the powdered sugar icing. I feel that icing such as that tastes cheap, like it came from a can. Cream cheese frosting adds a richness and slightly savory element. Thank you, Paula! As always, they are "best dishes."

Delicious cinnamon rolls! I mad them for the 2nd time today and they were just great.made Ree Drummond's version for Christmas, but was not pleased. Too many wet spots from all that butter! This recipe is on point though. I used all 4 cups of flour to my dough which cut down the kneading time to 5 min because it came together nicely quickly. My first rise took two hours. I then shaped them and put them in the fridge overnight then let them rise for 4 more hours. You don't have to stick to the time given. If your dough hasn't doubled yet, give it more time! Different environments, different times. Lastly, I would suggest using softened butter when rolling dough. Melted butter is just too messy!

Oh my gosh!!! I just made these and they are fantastic! Hands down the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. They take about 3 hours total to make from start to finish. Also, I would recommend baking for around 20 minutes. I baked mine for about 18 minutes and they were lightly browned and absolutely perfect!!! I also made the icing and thought it was fantastic too! Can't say enough good things about this recipe :
