I found this recipe to be pretty "blah". I baked for 24 minutes, and they were slightly overcooked. This contributed to the dryness. I think even if I decreased the baking time and they weren't so dry, they wouldn't be all that tasty. Still searching for a good cinnamon roll recipe...

they were great!!! i didn't let mine rise as much once i sliced them. also DO NOT mix melted butter cinn and sugar. made a big tasty mess. lol and they were not as cinnamony as i would have like but definitely worth the time it took to make them. you should really pay attention to the part where it say SPRINKLE SUGAR AND CINNAMON MIXTURE over MELTED butter. but as long as you let the dough take it's time they're yummy and flaky and soft and even better the next day.

These cinnamon rolls were nothing special to me. They kind of tasted like the store bought cinnamon rolls. I am puzzled as too why they have raving reviews. I am going to try them one more time before I rule it out, but I definitely will not be making them again if they turn out the same way.

Tasty?Me and my husband just finished eating the cinnamon rolls...THEY WERE DELICIOUS! besides the fact that I overloaded the pan, they came out moist and very flavorful. I also made a few changes to the filling..instead of using only regular sugar I used 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white and 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg...and i also made cream cheese frosting and added 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract...After making these I've decided that i will never buy another store bought cinnamon roll EVER.. What did you think?

OMG !!! Awesome, tender , moist, watch out Cinnabon this bun will put you out of business.
I used dark brown sugar instead, added walnuts and raisins. Set your oven for 18 mins, you can always add 2 more minutes like I did.
