Absolutely easy and delicious! I used brown sugar instead of regular sugar and had to triple the recipe for 2 lbs. of pecans. I will definitely be making these again.

Very good but for it to be 5 stars it needed just a touch more sugar - so I put 2 tablespoons instead of tsp. And I also made a batch for the adults with a pinch of cayenne pepper! Big hit!

So good!!! I took them to a Christmas party last year and have been asked for the recipe many times. One elderly lady confiscated the entire tin and called them her own.

I was given this recipe by a friend. I made them and now I can't keep them in the house. People at work ask me to bring them in all the time. The only thing I have done diffreant, I added more cinnamon. I have doubled the amount. It gives a very fall taste. I will be making up small bags and hanging them on the Christmas tree this year instead of candy canes.

I gave this recipe 4 stars only because I used the exact amount of ingredients for one pound of pecans and I only made 1/2 pound bag and it was perfect. Not too sweet and you can taste a hint of cinnamon. Very addicting!
Thanks Paula, great snack instead of the usual chips and such.

Just want to start off by saying that I love Paula & the Deen boys and love watching Paula's show! Made these for the first time at Christmas for several family gatherings. They were a huge hit! My family actually fought over them! The only thing I did different was use an artificial sweetner instead of the sugar. They were wondferul!!!!!! Keep cranking out those wonderful recipes, Paula.

I just made these for the first time for a gathering at a friends for Christmas. Even after all the main dishes were gone, people were still eating these, grabbing them out of the bowl, and you should have heard the comments. "These are so good." These are addictive!" "I just can't stop eating these." I made the topping just a little bit on the heavy side - not doubling it but just adding heaping measurements of everything - and these turned out not too sweet but just right. Thanks, Paula, you are a sweetheart!

I made these for Christmas snacks. I made 2 batches, one just with pecans, the second I added almonds and peanuts. The flavor is absolutely excellent. If you are looking for a "candy", this is not that recipe. There is a perfect mix of sweet and salty along with the roasted nut flavor. Great for munching or with salads. Definitely will save this for future use. Yum Paula

It wasn't sweet like cinnamon toast.
