Great recipe!!! Sorry Paula but I had to alter it just a bit - used reduced fat sour cream, only half a stick of butter and half the cheese. It's a little on the sweet side so I use it to compliment something spicy, like ribs.
Also, thinking about adding a can of chopped green chili peppers next time.

Could not be easier, and very popular all around. Be warned, though, if you are trying to time it for a meal, that in my oven I did 45 min followed by 15 min with cheese on top, and it was undercooked - it might take longer (and I poured it fairly shallow, too. Once I forgot the cheese and it was still good - I might consider leaving it off.

Just made it. Didn't change a thing. Not to sweet or to runny at all like a couple people have mentioned in reviews. It was delicious. Everyone loved it.

This is WAY too sweet. I think it would be a lot better with something less sweet than Jiffy mix..it tastes like candy.

This is fantastic and couldn't be easier to make! I made a double batch for Easter dinner and almost all of it went. It is a perfect compliment with a cured ham, a little sweet to counter balance the salt of the ham. The only thing I might do differently the next time is cut down on the butter a little bit. A real southern classic--try it,you'll like it!
