I made this for the first time for my granddaughters Thanksgiving Luncheon for teachers and class was a big hit many parents teachers wanted the recipe. My 9 year old asked me to make again for our Thanksgiving and we are certainly making it.

wheres the seasonings-??? Paula must of gotten distracted. good stuff ---have diners add salt/pepper seasoning to taste, think cornbread and corn off the cob-( no extra butter needed good combo- cheese was a great addition will be making again since this was a trial bake. super easy- here come those holiday lbs.

Always a nice comfort food favorite. Does sometimes come out a bit greasy, but if you go light on the butter, that may help just a little bit. Otherwise, always one of the sides that are gone at the end of the meal. I would recommend doubling it if you have a group 8 or larger.

I think this recipe is very heavy. Also using Jiffy was and issue for me. It has lard in it. A substitute would have been good. If you tone it down (skip the cheese, I think it is very good.

This is very yummy!! I add an egg for more texture and combine most of the cheese rather than sprinkle it all on top. A family favorite!!

Absolutely wonderful and EASY! I you like cornbread you will love this recipe. You can substitute the butter for olive oil. Still tastes just as good! It is now a staple for all our family get togethers.

I've made the same version of this recipe with the exception of the cheese. I use a tb vanilla and a little sugar. This actually compliments the corn and helps to bring out the sweetness of the corn as well. This had always been a crowd pleaser at my table for years. ^_^
