These were wonderful. I used a can of cream corn and I think this made it better. These were really good. I think next time I will try baking them in a cornbread pan instead of deep frying to save on some calories, but they were very good.

I made these to go with a fried fish dinner. Well, The fish (differen't Chef Recipe, came out lousey, but Paula's Corn Fritters SAVED the meal!! I added a bit extra butter to the batter. I was worried, but it was REALLY GOOD! Tender, light, crispy outside. Dipped 'em in honey - OMG YUM!

I am in love with the corn nuggets from Sonny's Real Pit BBQ Restaurant. When I saw this recipe it sounded perfect. I doubled it right away b/c it looked so delicious, but threw 1/2 of them out b/c they were too dry. They were very good- as a corn muffin, maybe. Not enough corn either. I saw someone else said the same thing, but I don't know how I could make it creamier. I'm a new home cook and don't know much about this sort of stuff. Maybe I'll try less dry and use cream corn instead next time- b/c I'll definitely try again :

Most hushpuppies taste like sand. These are wonderful. We make them every time that we have seafood. Delicious!!!

These work out so nice. Usually Paula's recipes are on the heavy side for my families taste. These were out of this world. I made them for someone who never had corn fritters before and h could not come out of the dish.
Real good!

It had been years since I made corn fritters. Decided it would go good with my comfort food supper of hamburger steaks, rice and gravy.
I only had self rising flour and cornmeal "mix" so I omitted the extra salt. Otherwise did it totally by the recipe. Family was eating them at the stove fast as I was removing them from the oil. They loved them both without powder sugar and with it. You can also plate them then run a very fine slight drizzle hot maple syrup. I will make this very very often..wtg again Ms Paula Dean

These fritters were really delicious! I want to add cheddar cheese and see how that would work out!
