Okay.. so this was good even before it was in the baking dish.. but that milk, cornmeal and salt start off gets thick and hard to work with very fast on Medium-High heat.. It's scared the life outta me (lol I had to laugh at myself. It looked so easy when Paula was doing it the other day. It smells delicious and I even kept some uncooked in the pan so I could eat it up like "Cake Batter" .. it says serve Immediately! But this was a practice run after 9pm I ate it asap I hope its even better tomorrow for my girlfriends!

This was a simple and delicious recipe that was perfect with Emeril's recipe for Chicken-Fried Pork Chops. I would cut back on the amount of green onions just a bit but otherwise this was perfect.
We loved the crust around the edges so I think I will try making this dish in muffin tins next time to maximize that crust.

This was very tasty. My husband loved it. When I make it again, I will add maybe garlic or onion powder to perk up the flavor a bit more.

Excellent recipe. The bread was very moist and flavorful. I made this bread in a muffin tin and it turned out perfect. I served chille over the bread and my family loved it. This recipe will definately be a keeper.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME dish!
I roasted a turkey and as opposed to stuffing prepared the corn spoon bread as a side dish. It was delicious and enjoyed by all!! It was so easy to make!

I didn't have any problems with this dish being dry, it turned out perfect - just like Paula's on TV. It's tasty in a mild buttery cheesy way but I longed for more of a distinct flavor. Maybe next time I'll use extra sharp cheddar to kick the flavor up a notch and add a little garlic. I was also thinking of adding crumbled cooked pieces of bacon on top. This dish has a lot of possibilities to make it your own to your own tastes and likings. I might even add some cumin, brown sugar, and smoked paprika for a sweet/savory type of thing going on. All in all it certainly tasted good - just needed more umph in my opinion.
