Hey Paula, once again you hit a home run with this one! I have to admit I was a bit surprised by all of the ingredients, and even wondered how they would work together, but it was awesome. I made this salad for my 18 and 20 year old Daughters, and between the two of them, they hoovered three quarters of it in no time. I snatched what was left, and it was great.

This salad is delicious! I saw the recipe and read the reviews and couldn't believe that it would actually taste good. I made it more out of curiosity than anything else! I was really suprised at how good it was!I used half the amount of raisins and substituted the other half with craisins, and only used 1 can of water chestnuts but both cans would probably be just as good. With all the unusual ingredients, it is amazing how good it all tastes together!! I will be making this alot!

Really good and different from the 7 layer. No comparison......Takes alittle longer than 20 minutes to prepare but it is well worth all the chopping. Hint.....stick with the recipe as fresh Iceberg Lettuce holds up much better than packaged. Thanks Paula....you did it again and again and again!!!!!!!!

My husband made this from memory after seeing it on Paula's show. His golfing friends really like it, and I am so proud of him for actually putting bananas in a salad! Now if he would only make it for me!!

I saw this on Paula's Home Cooking show and went straight to the grocery store after the show. The very first time I made this salad, it was perfect! Even my fussy children loved it! I'm fixing it today for a Memorial Day picnic tomorrow. Boy was it good!!

I really enjoyed this salad. I teach foods and made it for my senior students to sample. Many loved it, and some didn't like it at all. Some wouldn't even try it if they knew the ingredient list. I think I'll add some pineapple next time, and reduce the amount of dressing, but I'll definitely make it again.
