    Delicious and moist cornbread. Whenever I make it everybody asks for the recipe. I like a sweet cornbread so I always double the recipe and add a cup of sugar. Great every time.

    This was an OK recipe. Very moist cornbread. Maybe could have used a bit more sugar. Not sure I'll make again, but it was OK. Had better, had worse.

    This recipe is absolutely incredable!! I made this last year to go with a chili and again with a brunswick stew and my friends and family RAVED about it! I had people eating 3 massive peices each and then begging me for this recipe. I am now always disappointed when I am forced to eat any other cornbread than this recipe. Way to go, Paula!

    It is our new New Year's Day Cornbread recipe. It's so moist you don't EVEN need butter. Everyone loved it.

    Fabulous recipe as written. This makes a very moist, outstanding cornbread. I prefer to use all self rising corn meal (no additional flour, replace the sour cream with buttermilk, and replace the cayenne pepper with finely minced jalapeno.

    I used this recipe to make corn muffins, and I was deeply disappointed. The taste was bland, and the texture was gooey. It seem to need sugar and perhaps butter.

    My granddaughter, Christina just phoned, needed me to pull this recipe up on computer so that she could get the necessary ingredients. Christina said it was the best cornbread ever and she's a very good cook - I taught her!
