I had a lot of trouble keeping them together while they were frying. My boyfriend and father thought they were great; I wasn't too impressed with them myself, but I don't usually eat anything fishy. I put in a dash of Frank's Red Hot too, which was a nice little kick.

I served them with Paula's Corn Chowder too, which seemed to work well together.

I would decrease the green pepper and salt if I made these again and add some heat with a nice louisiana sauce.
I love to watch Pauls's cook show but I am sick of her other shows because she has such a filthy mouth and it's very unattractive on a grey haired old woman.

I have tried other crab cake recipes in the past but none have stacked up. Paula you have done it again, I just love Ritz crackers so when I saw it in the recipe I knew I had to try it. I served it over a simple green salad and it was perfect. Thank you

as usual, Paula came thru for me again! I made mini versions of these and took them to a small dinner party. They were a huge hit I made a dipping sauce out of roasted red pepper pesto, a bit of mayo, lemon juice, worsteshire, and a touch of old bay seasoning. I also put in a couple dashes of hot sauce. It worked well with these great cakes. Thanks paula!!

These crab cakes were great. I used imitation crab meat and more ritz crackers than the recipe called for. I will definetly make these again!

Wonderful. I loved these crab cakes. My Family and I are like crab cake experts. Everytime we go somewhere that has crab cakes, we order them. I think we have tasted almost all the crab cakes in town. These we defidently among the top. I am only fifteen so im not exactly a master chef, but these we so easy to make and they came out wonderful. I made them for my dad on fathers day, and he was pleased to say the least.

I PLAN ON MAKING THESE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. EVEN MY 10, 4 AND 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS THOUGHT THESE CRAB CAKES WERE GREAT.

I use many of Paula's recipes on a regular basis, and find them to be reliable and delicious. These crabckes are no exception; I made them for a family cook-out and they were a hit!

I did add some extra cracker and/or bread crumbs to help the bind the crabcakes and I dusted liberally with flour!

These remind me of my recent trip South and remind me why I love it there!
