    Paula's has done it again. I served these as an appetizer at a dinner party and they were so good we all agreed next time they are the main course!

    These turned out really well. I used vegetable oil instead of peanut oil (because that is what I had on hand. I also added an extra handful of cracker crumbs because it was a bit wet.

    I will make these again.

    DELICIOUS! Best crab cakes I've ever had, and they were SOOOOOO easy to make! I didn't have Ritz crackers so I subsituted plain bread crumbs. I can't imagine them tasting any better, but I bet they do with Ritz crackers.

    Made this for a potluck wine dinner - made mini versions for appetizers. Used 8 Ritz crackers - slightly more than 1/3 cup. And used veg/canola oil instead of peanut to cut saltiness. What a success! Served with the cilantro-lime tartar sauce in Sara's cornmeal soft-shelled crab recipe - very tasy for summer! Highly recommend this combo!

    I found that the batter was too loose. Next time I will try to use less moisture. Not too much taste and I used good crab meat.
