Made these last night, and they were heavenly. The sauce is so good on it's own, would be great to compliment other fish dishes. Highly recommend!

Love, love, love these crab cakes! I wasn't a fan of the sauce, but the crab cakes were amazing! Did not have heavy cream so I boiled 1% milk, worked just fine. Takes some preparation because they have to be refrigerated for 2 hours, but well worth it. Thanks, Paula!

Quite tasty, I must say. I didn't put too much peppers. My tolerance for spicy food is rather low. Overall, I love how creamy and flavorful it is.

I wish there was an option for 10 stars!! These were the best crab cakes I have ever eaten! I just ate day four left overs and I've never enjoyed left-overs this much! I didnt even have everything the recipe called for and they were still 10 stars! I used what I had: white onion instead of green, yellow bell peppers instead of red, I used 3 tbsp milk + 2 tbsp butter instead of heavy cream, I used mustard powder instead of dijon, I used dried parsley instead of fresh, and olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I would have used the recipe as is but I went with what I had. Still 10 stars!! Highly recommend this recipe :

Great receipe, I love the flavour of red peppers but prefer them blended for additional flavour so I decided to blend the peppers after chopping with a blender before adding to the butter/onion/garlic sauté. The blend really worked well and mixed all the way through the cakes. I wasnt sure how much Cayenne pepper to add, so I added a heaped teaspoon (not tablespoon! it gave the cakes a bit of a bite which worked well but I may try a normal teaspoon measurement the next time. Fantastic receipe and sauce! Thank you!! :

Love these. I make them all the time and then freeze them so I can quickly defrost them in the toaster oven and they make a great meal. Love them! Mmm-mmm!
