I just made these crab cakes for our Ash Wed. dinner! It was awesome. They are very flavorful, without being too spicy. I added a baked potato & a toss salad. It was special -- and easy! That's a great combination for any meal!

I tried just the crab cakes, they were great! I had a little issue when I was frying them because they were'nt cooked enough inside. Any tips ?
They were still excellent. YUMMY

Just like all of the other reviews, this recipe is delicious. I served them to my ever-picky mother-in-law and husband and they said they were the best they'd ever had and they truly were wonderful.

I made these for the first time on a special weekend getaway. My boyfriend and I were very disappointed with the outcome. There didn't seem to be enough flavor. I attempted these agin, modifing the recipe but still did not like.

These crab cakes were so good, my boyfriend and I made them twice in one week! They are better than any crab cakes I've had in a restaurant, EVER! Amazing, Paula. We used half packaged crab meat and the other half we used the meat from fresh king crab legs. I think that was a great addition. Also, our friend from Miami said it was the best food he had eaten since he had been up North.

both the sauce and the crab cakes were great. I cooked the garlic, the scallions and peppers in the skillet but then added that in a separate bowl where i already had the wed ingredients mixed.. my crab cakes didnt fall apart and i think this is why..also, go ahead and bake them like she recommends so they cook all the way thru..dont add any extra hot sauce, the cayenne pepper was good enough for me unless you like it REALLY spicy!

I finally made the crab cakes, I bought all of the ingredients a week ago, my dill was looking a little limp so I figured I better get them mixed up and cooked. The recipe is very easy, and the finished product was wonderful!! My husband and daughter loved them as well. Next time I will double or triple the recipe and invite friends over.

I'd never made crab cakes before and was a little apprehensive, but this recipe was easy and delicious. We brought the fresh crab meat back with us from FL and made this for a family party. Rave reviews. Try it!
