This was very easy to make and the dill sauce over the crab cakes really set it off---very very very good:

The lemon dill sauce was fantastic. Best I've ever tasted with crab cakes. I used a slightly different crab cake recipe (using mayo instead of cream, shallot instead of onion and hot sauce instead of mustard, and made 35 minis for apps. Anyway, the basics of the crabcake recipe are the same and the cakes plus the sauce were fantastic. I can highly recommend the sauce and based on the crabcakes I made using a similar recipe, think they would be outstanding as well.

These crab cakes were incredible. I read the reviews prior to making and several people said that they fell apart on them. The instructions say to fold in the crab meat, but I mixed it with my fingers like a meat loaf and the cakes stayed together perfectly. The sauce was especially popular at my table.

Had my family over for the holidays and served these as an appetizer -- they loved them! The sauce was to die for!

The lemon dill sauce made these crab cakes spectacular. I tried to be more health conscious and bake them instead of frying. The cakes tasted a bit bland prepared this way. Next time I'll suck it up and fry them.

"Best crab cakes I've ever tasted," claimed my brother. And I agree!

I prepared these as a first course for a dinner party. They turned out very well. This was the first time I had attempted crab cakes and I was impressed with how easy this recipe was to prepare. I prepared these the day before and refrigerated them over night and then pan fried them and served immediately. The sauce complemented them well and was enjoyed by all.

The lemon-dill sauce is awesome. The crab cakes were good, but the lemon-dill sauce really packed a punch and made the evening.

I am from the Eastern Shore of Maryland and I have eaten many crab cakes. This recipe is by far the best I have ever had. They were delicious!
