Make the lemon dill sauce! It would be good with shrimp or scallops. The crab cakes are easy to put together and I always add a little lemon juice.

I have grown up eating Maryland Crab Cakes and really do love them, however I have found what I term "The Ultimate Crab Cake"--Paula Deens Crab Cake with Lemon Dill Sauce! These are the easiest and best tasting crab cakes I have ever tasted. My husband and many family members and friends feel the same way. So easy to prepare and cook. I have made this recipe at least 4 times in the past few months...Excellent!

lemon dill sauce has a great flavor. my husband LOVES it. he also uses it for dipping hot wings instead of using ranch or blue cheese. should also be great as a salad dressing.

The lemon-dill sauce is excellent and left-overs go well with salmon and baked potatoes.

These crab cakes were excellent. Just the right amount of filling and spices so that you could really taste the delicate crab meat. Another winner from Paula. I made a wasabi mayo instead of the dill sauce- it was much easier and tasty.

This was so easy. I didn't have 2 hours to refrigerate, so I put it in the freezer for 15 min. It worked out fine. We substituted the sauce for a roasted red pepper sauce, and it was terrific!

Not only are the crab cakes tasty, the dill sauce makes the recipe complete.
