These mushrooms were easy to make, bake and eat! I sprinkled just a morsel of grated cheddar half way through. I was told by the family that these were the best stuffed mushrooms they had ever eaten! I will definitely make these again

These were fabulous! I sauteed the green onions with one clove of grated garlic, used half the amount of chopped parsley, and heated everything (excluding mushrooms and breadcrumbs in a saucepan before stuffing and baking. I dipped the filled mushrooms in panko and sprinkled Old Bay on top (only because I forgot to add it when mixing the filling. They turned out fabulously! Even my husband, who is not a mushroom eater, loved them. Thanks Paula!

These were SO delicious. This is the stuffed mushroom recipe I've been looking for! I didn't have parsley, but they were so great even without it. I used 2 portebellas, and I did have to cook it 10 minutes longer than the recipe said, but that was no problem. They were outstanding!
The only improvement I can think of is maybe adding a little heat. Chili powder???

First time I made them, I tried to use dried parsley flakes.... BAD IDEA! Definitely invest in the fresh parsley flakes or skip them entirely.
Otherwise, who can beat a crab and cream cheese based appetizer? DELICIOUS.

These were so good i had to create an account to write a review! I made these for myself and my gf for valentines day. They complimented the ny strip steaks and creamed spinach i made perfectly! My gf absolutly loved em!!! highly recommended! Eat em right out of the oven while they're warm!

The best! I doubled the recipe and used a pound of crabmeat, added a few tablespoons of plain greek yogurt and a healthy sprinkling of Old Bay, and used it to stuff 30 baby bella mushrooms. I also had a bit left over that I served as a cold crab dip. Both the mushrooms and the 'dip' filling were devoured by guests immediately

This recipe is "Da Bomb!" I have prepared it 3 times now, each time with a variation from Paula's original recipe, and IMO, none of the variations makes it better. It is great as it is. I rarely ever, ever say that! Here are a few of the variations that I have tried so far: added twice the curry (gave it some lingering zing which I thought appealing but wife did not! added 2 tbs of worcestshire (gave it an additional flavor boost added melted, salted butter to a panko breadcrumb topping (maybe a tad better browning. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

I have now made these over and over! They are a hit in my house and with the friends and kids! I have even used the stuffing for stuffing pork chops and chicken breasts! This is a keeper!
