I helped a friend make these for a party and they were quick and simple to put together. They went quickly.
We used french bread rather than toast.

Paula my husband don't cook nothing. I recorded your show everyday and he was being nice and put you on this morning and he saw the crabbies, he said that sure looks good honey, so I went out and picked up every thing to make the crabbies and we just loved them. He ate 3 right off the bat. I put them in the toster broiler and they cooked up nice and brown. Keeep the great food coming....Sylvia Scott,

I am in the process of making Crabbies right now for preparation for Superbowl Sunday. They are delicious! I couldn't find the cheese, so I just used a can of Cheddar Cheese Soup and a bit of horseradish mustard! Perfect!

I've been making these for about 30 years. We call them Crab Delights. Over the years I started making them with imitation crab meat, sometimes this works better for people that are not familiar with the taste of crab. I also increase the garlic a bit, put them on english muffins, freeze them, then broil until brown. I absolutely have to have these in the freezer when my children visit from out of town...they go like hotcakes...

Everyone at our party enjoyed these. One invitee requested I bring them to her party the following week!

I made these for lunch one day and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I've made other recipes but Paula's is the best we have tried.

I made this recipe several times and have taken it to different functions, some covered dish dinner and some to work just for fun, and at all times this is the first dish to have the plate cleaned. Everyone ask for the recipe.I is real quick and easy to make and enjoy at home just watching tv or playing card.

These are perfect for serving as snacks at parties - I've made them twice now and they're a great success every time. Everyone wants a copy of the recipe.

I made these once, but didn't have the Old English cheese specified in the recipe. I substituted a different cheese spread. The results were much greasier than when I stuck with the original recipe.
