I made these for my cooking club last night and everyone liked them. They were definitely best straight from the oven; as they cooled they weren't as good!

This is a good recipe to make & keep in the freezer until needed. They were a big hit with friends I served them to.

Been making these since forever. For a different variation try substituting the crab with a can or two (depending on how much you want to make of cleaned deveined baby shrimp and used the Old English Cheddar. These are awesome too.

LOVE Paula's version of recipe I've been making for years. Here's how I keep these on hand: Spread crab mixture on English muffin halves. Cut muffins into eighth's. Place slices on large cookie sheet and freeze, uncoverered. Place frozen crabbies in freezer bags and store in freezer. Take out whatever you need when guests arrive, bake, and enjoy!

I thought these looked really good when I watched the show so I made them for my Easter Brunch. They were really good and lots of people commented and asked for the recipe. I did use canned crab and it was fine. I am sure fresh would have been better but I didn't have time to get fresh. I also made twice the number of crabbies with the same amount of topping and it seemed to go a long way. Great recipe!

These were okay, nothing great. I live in Ohio so it's hard to get good crab meat, which might have been the problem, but just was an okay recipe for me.

Do not forget the hot sauce to spice it up. Family loved them. We covered them a little more with the crab than originally recommended.

These Crabbies are out of this world! Imitation Crab works just fine. The Gorilla Bread is a hit too!

Hi Paula, We live close to the Gulf
coast, our freezer is full of fish, shrimp, and crab. Your recipe was great. We had a back yard cook out and I served the Crabbies with side dishes of hotsauce. tarter, and sliced hot peppers while we were cooking smoked red fish. Cant tell you how well it went. Lots of happy friends. Thanks, Doug
