This was wonderful. I did change it a bit by adding the 2 rotisserie chickens (diced because my son is not a big soup eater without their being meat. I will definitely make this again and again.

This was really good and SO easy! I followed the directions pretty much as they were with a couple of extras. The nice thing about this recipe is it adapts well to additions or omissions. I don't like pimento so I used roasted red peppers from a jar, I rendered about 5 slices of tavern ham from the deli, diced, in the butter before I sweat the onions with the peppers. I used fine shred sharp cheddar from the bag and the flavor was great! And for a cool kick, I chopped a dozen cooked shrimp and threw them in after the cheese and heated it thru. It was easy, and made enough to feed several people. I can't wait to make it for friends!

Simple, inexpensive, and delicious, it's typical of all Paula's recipes.

Yummy!!! We loved this recipe! I added extra cheese than the recipe called for, as well as 2 jalopeano's and bacon for some extra kicks.

This was such an easy soup to make. I added more cheese than the recipe states. Next time I make this, I may add beer for a nice ale and cheddar soup.

I really liked it, it was good. But I think the fact that I used low fat half&hlaf may have made the soup lack on.... tastebud excitement. But none the less really yummy. I also used extra cheese just in case.
