    I made this for Easter and it was a huge hit!

    Has anyone made this in a crock pot? We're going camping this weekend and I thought I would give it a try, but I'm unsure how long to cook it in the crock pot.

    Made this for Easter brunch and everyone LOVED it! I did not change a thing in the recipe. Had plenty of flavor and made my vegetarian husband happy. Served with a strata and various other brunch dishes.

    My family has been making this for my entire life, but I was never given the recipe. This is a great dish with something like meatloaf or meatballs (my family always made it with BBQ Meatballs. It's a crowd pleasing dish, and it's great for leftovers.

    This is a delicious recipe on it's own, but you can make it your own by tweaking it with meats or/and veggies.

    I have one friend who makes this with cube frozen potatoes and adds chicken and poppy seeds. It's great. I sometimes mix in or use entirely the fried onions on top instead of potato chips.

    Also, I'm not a huge cream of chicken fan so I use the cream of celery or cream of mushroom.
