Really nice for simple recipe. I tweaked it a bit by adding ground sausage, only 1/2 an onion and using Panko instead of the potato chips. Good 'go to' recipe for something quick and simple. Everyone enjoyed it.

Made this for dinner with pork chops and side salad. Perfect! I used corn flakes for topping and added 4oz can of diced green chilis. Will make it again. I thought the 16oz sour cream was just right for the size of the dish. Thanks Paula

This recipe is a great "starter" recipe. It's tastes great on it's own, but the recipe is so simple that gives you the opportunity to jazz it up to fit your family's tastes.

Side note: I forgot to buy the cream of celery soup and didn't realize it until the last minute. I used a cup of mayo instead, and the casserole turned out great. I'll be sure to make this one again!

It was a hit for the entire family. Ages 6 to 66 loved it. I made it for a family breakfast. I did make two changes-I add sausage to the mix and used corn flakes instead of potato chips. It even tasted wonderful the next morning reheated.

Made this for family get together and it was so good. It is easy and compliments eggs and bacon so well. I have decided that I'm going to make this instead of mashed potatoes on Easter with Ham. Num Num! My Grandson, who is 6 loved it. No left overs on this one!

I actually brought it to a cookout...figured something different....it was gone in 3 minutes...and everyone was looking for the recipe! I'd say a BIG hit! I loved that it was so quick and easy to make!

This casserole is a sure-fire hit in the kitchen! It is extremely easy to prepare and you won't be disappointed in the end result. You'll be sorry you didn't double the recipe!

The only changes I made to the recipe were using cream of chicken soup instead of cream of celery, and I omitted the potato chips at the end based on some of the other reviews I read.

I was told "this is the best potato recipe I've ever had," so I guess I did alright. I'll be making it again!

    Thanks, Paula!

It was good, but the sour cream it calls for was a little over powering. Next time I make it I will not use as much.
