5 Star for ease, flavor and enjoyment by my guests everytime I make it. This is always on my holiday dessert buffets and an easy take along for food parties with my employees at the holidays.

Love these, I couldn't find the chips, so I brought the packages of andes mints and while baking i opened 3 packages unwraped them all and of course eating a few. When the brownies came out of the oven I place the mints in rows on top and let them melt - Fantastic. Remember to unwrap them first so you don't spend time unwrapping while the others are melting.
I also remenber a brownie she did that she put 1/2 the batter in then put large candy bar on top and the the rest of the batter. Think I will try that next only using the andes in the middle.
    YUM YUM

These are excellent!! I try to make them every year. I use the Andes mints and give them a coarse chop. I like the texture they give the brownies. Fabulouso!!

I love chocolate and mint together, but these were so minty they almost tasted like they had alcohol in them. I discovered that to suite my tastes I should only put half the mint chips in the batter. The rest I put on top, and I don't bother trying to shave them. It's not worth the effort.

First of all, thank you to those of you that suggested Wal-Mart for the Andes baking chips. The first time I chopped the individual candies by hand with a sharp knife, most tedious part is unwrapping them. Still, they came out great! I did frost mine, but used room temperature butter and also about 1/4c. of cream cheese. This turned out to be a good choice for my tastes, obviously for others as well, since they went quicker than hot cakes! I've tried many of "Paula's Best Dishes", and have not been disappointed. My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip so I knew I would love these, and Paula hasn't failed me yet! Thanx Paula, and to all of you fellow reviewers! JK

I've never found Andes mints too be minty enough for my taste, so I wasn't sure how this would turn out. My Grandma and my sister love almost anything mint (especially chocolate mint, so I decided to give it a try for Christmas. Literally everyone loved it. I was very impressed by the mint flavor! I thought it wasn't either too minty or not minty enough. The icing is very rich chocolaty, but I have an entire family of chocoholics, so they always say the more icing the better, haha. It turned out great, and I received many requests to make it again. :-

These were the sweets I was most excited about while doing my holiday baking. They tasted fabulous! However, my batch broke apart easily, and didn't cut well even after cooled, possibly because of their density. They may not have looked great, but everyone loved them anyway.

They are so good, I had to write a review right now. I haven't even cut the rest up - these are to die for. Wow! Paula does it again! If you're on the fence about this one, go for it!
