I love this recipe! I have made it on a couple of New Year's Eves as a special treat for my kids. It does take time to make, but is so well worth it. To save even more time, I use store bought rotisserie chicken -mojo flavor, of course!

Super yummy recipe!!! Lots of work but, well worth it. I've made it several times and maybe to save some time have everything done the day before like the salsa verde and the chicken. I would'nt change a thing. Just be patient and don't alter anything and it will turn out Awesome!

YUMMY!!! Although a lot of work, well worth it! They were delicious! I also recommend the rice that was made on the show to go along with these tacos.

Instead of frying, I have tried 2 less fattening options. (1 I rolled chicken mixture in wheat or corn tortilla, laid them out in a casserole, poured the sauce over, and topped with cheese. Baked till warm throughout OR (2 Place nacho chips in casserole; top with chicken mixture and sauce, cheese, sliced jalapenos; broil.

Both of these salsas are absolutely fabulous! Try making the salsas a day ahead to save time cooking and time cleaning up! You can even experiment with different meats in this, such as turkey!

For some reason, the ingredients list seems to have disappeared. FOR THE RECIPE, I found it on Paula Deen's website (just her full name (dot com. Look under recipes and type in the title: "Crispy Fried Tacos."

    Enjoy!

This recipe is AWESOME! Authentic tasting! A tad bit of work, but worth it! Hey, what happened to the ingredients? Thank goodness I made this long back and printed it out w/ the ingredients. Great job Patricia & Paula!
