Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread, cubed
- Peanut oil, for frying
- Dash dried parsley
- Dash Parmesan
- Dash House Seasoning, recipe follows
Directions
Allow bread cubes to sit overnight to become stale.
Heat a couple inches of oil to 350 degrees F in a large saucepan or straight-sided skillet. Add bread cubes and fry, stirring constantly, until browned. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season and serve with your favorite soup.
House Seasoning:
1 cup salt
1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 cup garlic powder
Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

Better than store bought!!!!! Never thought of making homemade before...but these are the kind you find in your salad at a fancy restaurant. Also, it's a great way to still use stale bread than just throwing it out. I'll never buy again!! Thanks Paula:
