    Certainly a crowd pleaser. I supplemented some of the white with brown sugar. Next time I'll use a little less apple sauce. Wonder how pears would suffice ? :

    Gee Pauls you sure have a winner here...I use brown sugar for this recipe never said whit or brown...and I use golden and red delicious apples..I think next time I will add a little less applesauce.. used the cinn. kind and also will pre bake the frozen pie crust first...but the taste is great will make this again for sure everyone loved...it and was trying to figure out what all was in it...raisens would be nice touch to this pie also...used the crunch top only...Uhmmmmmmm

    My girls and I watch your show everyday and it gets us into alot of trouble well, good trouble. We made the Crunch Top Apple Pie yesterday for the family. It was so good it would make your tounge slap your brains out. I make pies alot and I have never made one with apples and applesauce it will replace my old apple pie recipes. Thank you for a delicous recipe.

    This pie tastes incredible! Mine came out rather watery, but it's still sooo yummy! I'm not concerned with how something looks as how it tastes.

    Would make it again in a heartbeat!
