    I've been searching for a great pie crust for a while, and this one was definitely it! This was easy to make. The dough was easy to handle and roll out. It baked well and was flaky. YUM-O.

    I didn't make the filling though based on the other reviews. Maybe next time I will try it.

    This was the first pie I have made from scratch. This was one of the best apple pies I have ever had the privage to eat. The crust's title is accurate. Paula's PERFECT pie crust. Five stars does not come close to its true rating.

    It looks great, tastes great but the texture with the applesauce was not what we like. I will make it again but use more apples with no applesauce.

    This is the BEST recipe ever! My husband sys it's the best apple pie he's ever had and asked me to make 10 for Thanksgiving, he'll be lucky to get three! I will use this crust recipe for all my pies from now on, very good and seems to be more "predictable" than others I've used. As for the filling, it is to die for. The only thing I will change is to add a touch of nutmeg. Paula ROCKS!!

    This crust is fantastic. I will probably use it for all of my pies in the future. However, using apple sauce in the filling makes it much too "mushy" for my taste and my husband's as well. I wanted to bake an apple pie for Thanksgiving and tried this recipe in advance as a test. I will find another filling receipe but will definitely use this crust.

    I am not a pie fan but this recipe just converted me! I used pillsbury dough and it worked great. Also I cut the applesauce in half and added cinnamon then doubled the crunch topping. Definately making for Thanksgiving.
