This is one of the BEST potato dishes I've ever tasted! Everyone I've cooked it for was in HEAVEN and had to have the recipe! Easy to prepare and heavenly to eat. For Thanksgiving, my 80 year old mother asked me to make mashed potatoes AND these potatoes and she really pigged out on them.
I LOVE Paula Deen and most all of her recipes.

I decided to try these with the cheeseburger meatloaf like Paula. Another big hit with my husband and myself. Good flavor, easy to prepare, and tasty. This is definitely another keeper for us! Thanx again Paula!

As other reviewers have noted it is difficult to get the cornflakes to adhere to the potatoes. The end result was not that impressive, either. Neither my husband or I ate more then one each.

I tried to cut corners and used canned potatoes. (terrible mistake!! I think that was the mistake from the beginning. The crust was good, but I had a hard time getting it to stick to the potatoes. Will definitely try this recipe the RIGHT way, and see how it comes out then!!

The recipe was easy to follow but I have to agree it was tuff getting the cornflakes to stick.I had to press them in while trying not to break the potatos. Plus when you turn em , some of the crunchies come off. Overall, I would make them again cuz they were pretty good.

The only thing I'm going to do differently next time is peel the potatoes first before I boil them. It took forever for the potatoes to cool so I could peel them and it was a bit messy. I prefer peeling before cooking. This recipe is a great way to jazz up plain ol potatoes.

Oh my goodness were these taters good!
Hard to get the coating to stick, but once I did...YUM! So crunchy and buttery.
These would be good for any meal or occassion too!
Try it, you'll love it!
