Cuban Sandwich? Where's the pork? Then drop the mayo and dijon mustard and add regular mustard. Best sandwich ever created!

Out with the mayo to call it a Cuban sandwich. It's still great though because there is one called the Miami Sandwich which is: ham, pork, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomates, bacon & mayo. Try it, you'll love it. GO MIAIMI !!!

This is a very good ham and cheese, but it isn't an authentic cuban sandwich, not that it matters. Everyone changes things for their own tastes. If you are ever in the south where there are Publix supermarkets go have them make a cuban sandwich in their deli for you. It is the best. They put pork, ham, pickles, mustard, swiss cheese and then press it on the sandwich press. I so miss living near a Publix.

A lot of brain dead people leaving reviews.....OBVIOUSLY it's not meant to be AUTHENTIC cuban...I hate when people rate the wrong way, If you haven't tried it don't rate it....Just messes it up for others. Rate on the taste. Damn... I tried it, it was fabulous, it tasted good and my kids LOVED it, don't really care about how Cuban sandwiches don't have mayo... Thanks Paula...

    Paula please.
This was a great sandwich but call it what it is a grilled ham and cheese. From one southerner to another please do your home work when leaving the Deep South? I live in south Florida and you will never ever put mayonnaise on a Cuban sandwich ?ever?. You also use Cuban bread, which is bread, baked with water not oil. The traditional Cuban is made with pork, ham, dill pickles, and mustard. God bless, we still love you.

When I first saw the rating as 3 stars, I wondered why it wasn't very high, I checked the ratings and find out how pointless some of these ratings are. Who cares if it's not authentic? I mean there are people who make salads with mandarin oranges and call it Asian. Do you think I would go complain and give them low ratings? Pointless complains.
