Before I began searching my kitchen for these ingredients, I looked at the ratings and reviews to see if this recipe was worth my time, and then I decided I would give it a try. I like most of you took the adivce of others and opted to add peanut butter cups to a select cake batter. I did this so I was able to taste with and without my own added flavor. I must say I agree 100% by adding this peanut butter cups it added extreme flavor that was missing! This recipe (with the peanut butter cups added was a hit in my house, I even think it taste like the peanut butter cups. Although it was a little heavy I fell that after I've made it a few times these issues will fade away.

I followed the recipe and it had no flavor whatsoever. I made my own peanut butter icing and my icing tasted WAAAYYYY better. No one liked my cupcakes and my cupcakes were the only dessert there. My party was a wreck, and I wasted the last of my ingredients. Thanks a lot, Paula. All of "ya'll" should never use this recipe.

This is one of the best cupcake recipes I've tried. Quick, easy and a great activity to get your kids involved with. I added chocolate chips to the cupcake batter just to give them that extra "something".

These were easy to make. I did as one reviewer recommended and added a peanut butter cup a few of the muffins. I like the ones with out much more than with. But even without the candies, they were just to rich for us. If you like really rich sweets that come together easily you'll love this though.

I make a recipe similar to this. I just use a chocolate cake mix and place a reeses mini on top of each cupcake before baking. They will sink to the bottom while baking. I mix 1/3 cup of peanut butter and a container of vanilla frosting to frost.

I made these cupcakes for my son's birthday and the kids loved them! All of them said that the frosting made the cupcake taste like a Reeses peanut butter cup. I would like to correct the yield, This would have made at least 30 cupcakes vs. the 12 stated. I made 12 and then just baked the rest of the batter in a 9in. cake pan and frosted with the yummy frosting. Also, these cupcakes were more time consuming to mix together then the recipe made it seem. The cupcake batter took a good 15 - 20 min of running time on my Kitchen Aid mixer. While the result was really good, next time I might just buy a cake mix.
