I was out of corn flakes - so I used crushed Honey Bunches Of Oats (good flavor and texture. However, I did not find that the dish was as flavorful as I had hoped. If I make them again, I will add a little salt and maybe some ground red pepper or cayenne to the mixture.

I added a little shredded coconut to the cornflakes, topped the bananas with sugar, and then drizzled the remaining curry/butter mixture on the bananas when they came out of the oven. Quick, easy, and different. These work as either a side dish or a dessert.

Fun and unusual snack. I didn't have any corn flakes so i used panko bread crumbs. They had a nice subtle curry flavor.

The recipe was good, but very plain. I don't know if i'll ever make it again.

I don't like bananas, so obviously this is not a recipe I would normally try. But I made it for my husband and he liked them alot. They make a nice savory/sweet treat for a different afternoon snack. I had no problem with mushy bananas, I made sure the ones I used were super firm to begin with.

I personally didn't care for these at all. I don't know if I did something wrong but they just didn't do it for me. My 1 year old liked them though.

After reading some of the other reviews, I was hesitant to try this, but I did. I chose bananas that were still a little green and sprinkled a bit of sugar over them before baking. They were wonderful! The bananas held up perfectly and my husband thought it was a fabulous "not too sweet but very satisfying" dessert. We will have this again!!

These were great with pork chops and very easy to make. The crunchy sweetness of the bananas was perfect with the pork. Reading the rest of the reviews I would conclude that those that didn't like it and complained of mush probably don't know a ripe banana from a monkey's behind. Good treat Paula.
