I'm always looking for something to jazz up my deviled eggs and this was the recipe. These were sooo good. A nice twist on plain deviled eggs. And to robnpete1. Your mistake was to leave them out. If you have to cover them. But mine didn't last long enough to get brown and nasty looking

I made this for a Fourth of July picnic and asked everyone to taste and rate it. I only gave it three stars because I compared it to other deviled eggs I have made over the years. I like curry and walnuts, which I used instead of pecans, and these were nice for a change. BUT, after they had been sitting on the table for a while, out of the fridge, they looked horrible because they turned a nasty brown color.
