This is wonderful and fast. I use an outside turkey fryer to do a larger bird. Putting a rub on the skin and under it really helps with the flavor. I injected Corona beer into the flesh before frying which makes it very juicy. People always worry it will make the turkey more fattening because of the deep frying but the meat is absolutely NOT greasy. Even people who say they don't like turkey have cleaned their plates when we make this.

I never thought this would happen but this has changed the way our family does Thanksgiving Forever. It was wonderful, my husband did all of the work and I had my over free to make the side dishes. So much faster, easier and even tasted better than roasted. He wants to do it every weekend now and I could not agree more.

I was so worried about having christmas dinner at our house. BBQs were easy and often, but a turkey dinner with all the trimmings . . . AAAHHHHH! Paula's super easy recipe for frying a turkey was sensational! It had never been done before in our gigantic family, so we did it and everyone LOVED IT! YAY!

This is the best way to cook a Thanksgiving turkey. Followed Paula's directions to the letter. It came out delicious and juicy and golden all over- plus it freed up the oven for other dishes. I will be cooking it this way again for sure.

We have deep-fried turkeys several times in the past, but this was the absolute best! The rub was wonderful and gave it a great "crusty" texture. I also injected my turkey with a creole butter marinade. It disappeared fast!

I saw this and thought it looked so good so I told my husband I wanted to try it and we did and it was so moist and juicy and even easy to my surprise. We loved it and ate it last night and even the kids liked it. Thanks Paula!
